Research Fellow Dermatology Job Posting

Research Fellow, Dermatology

Galveston, Texas, United States

UTMB Health  |  Requisition 2604567

University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) - Galveston, Texas

UTMB opened in 1891 as the nation's first public medical school and hospital under unified leadership. What began as one hospital and medical school building in Galveston is now a major academic health sciences center of global influence, with medical, nursing, health professions and graduate biomedical schools; a world-renowned research enterprise; and a growing, comprehensive health system with hospitals on four campuses and a network of clinics.

The Department of Dermatology was the first department of Dermatology in the state of Texas and has been in continuous operation since its founding in 1920. We, therefore, have a long history of excellence in patient care, in the training of residents and fellows as well as medical and allied health students. This is a diverse and growing Department consisting of over 30 clinicians, including Faculty, Residents, and Advanced Practice Providers, located at our League City, Clear Lake and Galveston campuses. The Department is seeking a highly motivated Dermatologist to provide faculty support to meet the teaching, research and patient care needs of UTMB's threefold mission. https://www.utmb.edu/dermatology
