DIG members and the UTMB community are invited to attend UTMB MS4 Alekhya Gurram's Dermatology Honors Research Project Thesis Defense on Friday, August 14, at 2 PM in the 5th Floor Dermatology Conference Room (UHC). Her research presentation is titled "An Analysis of Vitiligo and Vascular Anomalies in Children's Literature." Her supervising faculty is Richard F. Wagner, MD (Professor Dermatology), and her ad hoc thesis committee members are Lindy Ross, MD (Assistant Professor of Dermatology), Ayezel Munoz Gonzalez, MD (Assistant Professor of Dermatology), and Jiaren Sun, MD, PhD (Professor and Director for the Scholarly Concentration in High Impact Basic Science Clinical Research (SCiHIR), Departments of Microbiology Immunology & Pathology).
The Dermatology Interest Group at The University of Texas Medical Branch (DIG @UTMB) is a resource for medical students interested in Dermatology as well as for dermatologists and residents.
