Many successful dermatology applicants present their research at the Annual Meeting of the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD). Next year the meeting is from March 3-7 in Orlando, Florida. Please see the following information about submitting your abstracts for presentation at this highly visible international meeting: https://www.aad.org/meetings/annual-meeting/for-abstracts Three abstract submission categories opened June 7, 2016 and close on September 14, 2016 at 5 pm CT. Successful authors are notified by email in December. Many UTMB dermatology residents and faculty are happy to collaborate on abstract submission with our medical students, so if you have any interest in this opportunity, please do not hesitate to ask our residents and faculty about it.
