The Dermatology Interest Group held a booth at this year’s Access Coastal Care of Texas (ACCT) Seawalk Health Fair on Sunday, October 6th. This community-wide event aims to provide health screenings, resources, and education to underserved residents of Galveston. At our booth, we offered free sunscreen samples (donations provided by UTMB Dermatology) and educated participants on sun protection, how to use sunscreen effectively, and how to identify potential skin cancers. Thank you to our DIG volunteers who participated!
