Congratulations to Andrea Francis for her selection by the Galveston Daily News to the 2022 “40 Under 40” in recognition for her public health work with Galveston’s homeless population through her “Hats for the Homeless” program that distributes sun-protective hats and provides educational and community service opportunities for UTMB DIG members to educate this vulnerable population about primary prevention of skin cancer.
