This year there were 20 visiting medical students
from 14 different medical schools who rotated at UTMB during Periods 12
through 5. All were offered interviews. Nonrotating MS4s and physicians
from 3 additional US medical schools who
were offered interviews had a mean Step 1 score of 259 (range 248-266),
a mean Step 2 score of 266 (range 256-270), and 5 were in AOA .
Applicants will be interviewed in Galveston on either Thursday, January
30 or Friday, January 31, 2020. There will be a
dinner hosted by UTMB residents the evening before each interview at a
local restaurant. One residency position is offered through the NRMP for
July 2020 and 5 residency positions are available for July 2021.
