Congratulations to UTMB medical students Tyler
Marion and Jake Gibbons for their recent publication, “The Rose of
Dermatology” about dermatology pioneer Dr. Rose Hirschler (1875-1940).

Following UTMB SOM graduation on June 1, 2019, and a preliminary
medicine year at Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas, Dr. Marion will be
starting dermatology residency at the University of Florida
(Gainesville) in July 2020. Dr. Gibbons will start the categorical
internal medicine program at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas
in July 2019.
The University of Texas Medical Branch Dermatology Interest Group (UTMB DIG) is a resource for medical students interested in Dermatology as well as for dermatologists and residents.
