Congratulations to current UTMB DIG President Jane Onyemachi (MS4) and her co-authors for publishing their work within Skin Appendage Disorders titled Bridging the Gap Between Dermatology and Psychiatry: A Review on Quality of Life in Trichotillomania and Special Considerations in Management. Her co-authors are Caroline Nguyen (MS4), Lynchi Nguyen (MS2) and Drs Olivia Chukwuma (PGY4 Chief Resident for Academics) and Ayezel Munoz-Gonzalez (Assistant Professor). This review highlights the complexity and interdisciplinary nature of managing TTM, emphasizing the clinical utility of screening tools for assessing its impact on quality of life.
