Reminder to Register: DIGA x National Council on Skin Cancer Prevention Webinar

Happy New Year DIGA members! Hope all is well. This is a reminder to register here for the DIGA x NCSCP webinar:

You are cordially invited to attend a special webinar on Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 8:00 – 9:00 p.m. EST, to chat with renowned national dermatologists and to learn about the National Council on Skin Cancer Prevention (NCSCP) and the Indoor Tan-free “Skin Smart Campus” initiative. Our webinar panelists are:

  • Dr. Boris Lushniak, Former Acting Surgeon General & NCSCP Co-Chair
  • Dr. Henry Lim, Former President, American Academy of Dermatology
  • Dr. Adewole Adamson, Professor, University of Texas at Austin, Dell Medical School

Register here to attend the webinar. Once registered you will receive a confirmation email with the Zoom link to join the session.

This webinar is the beginning of what we hope to be an ongoing relationship between NCSCP and DIGA—a relationship that will continue with new and current DIGA members and those who go on to practice medicine.  Our goal is two-fold: to help DIGA get introduced to and involved in the skin cancer community, and to help NCSCP connect with the next generation of dermatologists.  Additionally, one of the NCSCP’s initiatives is campus-centered—Indoor Tan-Free “Skin Smart Campus”—so NCSCP will briefly present the initiative so that interested DIGA members can get involved immediately.

Mark your calendars now and please register.  We look forward to seeing you on Thursday, January 20th at 8 p.m. EST.
