Dermatology Nurse James Wilson’s last day in the UTMB Dermatology Clinic was on Friday, July 19, 2013. His service to the dermatology clinic was honored today by clinic staff. Nurse Wilson started working the dermatology clinic in 2009, and grew to be a greatly valued team member, especially on the Mohs service where he excelled in skin cancer nursing and wound care. He will be greatly missed by UTMB dermatology residents, medical students, medical staff, and most of all, our skin cancer patients for his exceptional caring and specialized clinical expertise. In 2012 Nurse Wilson received a prestigious Daisy Award in recognition of his nursing skills and professionalism. He plans to continue his nursing career at UTMB in the pediatric allergy clinic.
