UTMB
dermatology residents and alumni showed support for Dr. Brandon Goodwin
(UTMB dermatology / dermatopathology faculty), Dr. John Cangelosi (UTMB
dermatopathology alumni), and Dr. Paul Smith (husband of UTMB
dermatology alumni Dr. Neda Nosrati) in "The Arts of Healing," a physician-based charity that raised money and awareness for lung cancer through a representation of a physician's personal artistic talents
to the local community. Dermatopathology photography art was displayed
by both Drs. Brandon Goodwin and John Cangelosi. Dr. Paul Smith
entertained the guests by singing and playing the guitar. The annual
event was held November 8th at the River Oaks Shopping District in
Houston and was quite a success. All proceeds went to the The American
Lung Association's Lung Force initiative.
The University of Texas Medical Branch Dermatology Interest Group (UTMB DIG) is a resource for medical students interested in Dermatology as well as for dermatologists and residents.
