Congratulations to Anthony “Tony” Jimenez, a current PGY4 UTMB dermatology resident and a UTMB SOM graduate, for being “chosen as a 2025 recipient of the Arnold P. Gold Foundation Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award (HETA) by fourth-year medical students who are members of the Gold Humanism Honor Society (GHHS). This award recognizes outstanding humanistic teaching residents as identified by their students and is based on exceptional teaching skills and commitment to the compassionate treatment of patients and families, students, and colleagues.
The
candidates nominated were outstanding, so you should be especially proud of
being selected by the members of the GHHS for this honor. We hope that you’ll
be able to join us for the official presentation during the GHHS Induction
Ceremony and Senior Recognition on Thursday, February 13, at
5:30pm in Levin Hall Dining Room, where you will be inducted as a
member of GHHS and presented with a certificate and a monetary award.”
