Congratulations to Dr. Keith Wagner, a current PGY3 UTMB dermatology resident, for his recent print publication “Online skin disease hoaxes: Widespread and credible to viewers” in the September 2021 issue of the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology (J Am Acad Dermatol. 2021 Sep;85(3):731-733. doi: 10.1016/j.jaad.2019.06.036. Epub 2019 Jun 22). This research was the outcome of his UTMB Dermatology Research Honors Project that was completed in 2019. His JAAD coauthors are Drs. J. Croley (former UTMB dermatology resident and Mohs fellow) and dermatology faculty, Assistant Professor Dr. J. Wilson. Dr. Wilson was the faculty mentor on this student research. Drs. Wagner, Crowley, and Wilson, along with Dr. Yuki Yamada (Japan) are contributors to the website skinhoax.com
