The Dermatology Interest Group hosted their second Stay Shady event on Thursday, February 21st at Satori School in Galveston.
Medical students (L to R) Eunice Ko (MS2), Keyon Mohebzad (MS3), Hillary
Nguyen (MS3), and Lily Valad (MS3) presented an educational
presentation on sun safety and helped Satori School students make
UV-sensitive bead bracelets to help remind them to stay vigilant
in the coming summer months.
Special thanks to Ms. Claire Wilkins at Satori School for coordinating
the event and to DIG fundraising participants for providing the
materials for the bead bracelets.
