The UTMB Graduate Medical Education (GME) has instituted a new dinner meeting program related to their Resident Wellness Initiative that applies to our PGY2 (first year) dermatology residents. Volunteer dermatology faculty are paired with a PGY2 dermatology resident (significant others are also invited) to dine at GME expense (up to $100). There are many excellent restaurants in the Galveston/League City area to enjoy and a good chance to interact with dermatology faculty on a personal level.
The University of Texas Medical Branch Dermatology Interest Group (UTMB DIG) is a resource for medical students interested in Dermatology as well as for dermatologists and residents.
