Study Supports Standardized Dermatology Letter of Recommendation
The Divisions of Dermatology and Pediatric Dermatology at The Ohio State University (Columbus) published a study in the September 2016 issue of The Journal of Clinical and Aesthetic Dermatology about their single institution retrospective experience that compared the new standardized letter of recommendation with the more traditional letter (Volume 9, Number 9, pp.36-42). The authors concluded that the standardized dermatology letter meets the goals of efficiency, applicant stratification, and validity.
