The UTMB DIG has learned that this July the UTMB Dermatology Residency Program will expand to 7 first year (PGY2) residents, in keeping with the departmental plan to develop a 2+2 Physician Scientist Research Track. This means that UTMB Dermatology Residency will become one of the large (19 or more residents) dermatology programs in the United States, and eventually grow to reach 22. Dr. Daphne Eckembrecher will be joining the incoming PGY2 residency group this July. Welcome to Galveston! We look forward to working with you!
