DIG leadership has been actively working with Principal Ramirez to create exciting new learning opportunities at the newly opened Austin Elementary, a school with a focus on Arts and Health Sciences. Through funding from the AAD Good Skin Knowledge Grant, DIG will provide educational programs aimed at teaching elementary students about skin, nail, and hair health with the goal to reduce stigma and bullying related to dermatological conditions.
The University of Texas Medical Branch Dermatology Interest Group (UTMB DIG) is a resource for medical students interested in Dermatology as well as for dermatologists and residents.
