We are excited to announce the launch of DIGA's own Medical Student Advocacy Groups! These groups are meant to connect students interested in advocating for issues important to the field and issues important to medical students pursuing dermatology. We hope that students within each group can work together to brainstorm ideas that lead to change. The five groups currently established are LGBTQ+ Healthcare, Skin of Color, Sustainability and Climate Change, Increasing Representation in Dermatology, and Expanding Opportunities for Students without Home Programs.
You can sign-up on our website or at the Google link below. Please sign-up before October 15th. We are hoping that meetings of the advocacy groups will begin at the end of October/early November!
