The best dermatology research should have a reliable research design to optimize research success. UTMB medical students with a dermatology research idea are urged to first contact the 2025-2026 Chief Dermatology Resident for Medical Student Research, PGY4 Mary Cavanagh, MD with their research idea so that she can contact faculty with appropriate topic interest and expertise to collaborate with students to develop an appropriate study design to answer their research question(s).
