Congratulations to UTMB Dermatology Assistant  Professor Dr. Brandon Goodwin. Dr. Goodwin, along with his academic practice in dermatology and dermatopathology at UTMB is also an artist. One of his medical illustrations was recently featured in the textbook, Diagnosis and Treatment of Rare Gynecologic Cancers. Congratulations Dr. Goodwin!

UTMB MS4 Presents at Cochrane Skin Annual Meeting

Shayan Owji, UTMB MS4, presented his study "Dynamic Optical Coherence Tomography for the Assessment of Topical Corticosteroid Potency and Bioequivalence" at the Cochrane Skin Annual Meeting on Sept. 15. His co-authors were Peter Baek, Joseph Han, Helen He, MD, Nicholas Gulati, MD, Benjamin Ungar, MD, and Jonathan Ungar, MD from Mount Sinai Dermatology.

All UTMB Completing 2022 PGY4 Dermatology Residents Certified by the American Board of Dermatology (ABD)

 The ABD released the results of 554 successful dermatology residents examined in 2022 who are now board certified. All UTMB completing PGY4 completing dermatology residents in 2022 were successful. Congratulations to Drs. Morgan Arnold, Caroline Hagan, Paige Hoyer, and Anthony Linfante! This is the 11th year in a row that all UTMB completing residents passed their board certification examination on their first attempt.

PGY4 UTMB Dermatology Resident Publishes in SKIN

Congratulations to UTMB PGY4 dermatology resident, Dr. Andrew Armenta for his recent first author publication in the peer-reviewed journal SKIN, “Absorbable Sutures in the COVID-19 Era: A Post-Operative Quality Improvement Survey of Patient Satisfaction Rates Following Mohs Surgery.” His coauthors were Drs.
